JEM/GLO News:

Hot off the JEMGLO Avid editing system: A Torah Returns to Poland! This latest JEMLO documentary was released in August and has already aired in 39% of the PBS markets in the US. It is expected that the documentary will be re-broadcast and aired in additional markets around Chanukah, in December. It premiered in Wroclaw, Poland at the city’s annual Jewish Culture Festival in June 2006 – where the film’s musicians Marty Fogel and Mitch Schechter were headline performers. In its preview version, the program already received a silver Telly Award and a Summit Award. Please check our Broadcast Schedule page to learn when it will play in your area! If your local station is not listed, please call and ask them to air the program!

JEMGLO’s documentary Klezmer Musicians Travel “Home” to Krakow is completing its airing cycle, having been broadcast on WNET / Channel 13 and WLIW / Channel 21 in New York, NJN (New Jersey), WPBT (N. Miami, FL), WYBE (Philadelphia), and a number of other PBS markets around the nation.

The Thomas Edison Black Maria Film/Video Festival cited From Refugee to Immigrant as a "noteable and accomplished piece of considerable merit." From Refugee to Immigrant has been broadcast internationally on the Albanian language satellite channel 21.

In a highly acclaimed book, The Victim's Fortune, authors John Authers and Richard Wolffe of the Financial Times quote an interview from JEMGLO’s documentary Swiss Jewry: An Island in the Twentieth Century, referring to the program as "an excellent documentary."
